Two Individuals Charged in Connection to Series of Armed Robberies Across GTA

Peel Regional Police, in collaboration with Toronto Police and Halton Police, have charged two individuals in connection with a series of armed robberies at convenience stores across the Greater Toronto Area. Between December 30, 2023, and January 16, 2024, the suspects, wearing disguises and armed with firearms, targeted multiple stores in Peel, Toronto, and Halton Region, demanding money and lottery tickets during each incident. Fortunately, no physical injuries were reported among the victims. David Nakale, 25, from Mississauga, faces five counts of Robbery with a Firearm and five counts of Wearing a Disguise, while Aaron Wisniewski, 23, from Brampton, has been charged with seven counts of Robbery with a Firearm and Wearing a Disguise.

The investigation is still ongoing, and authorities suggest that additional charges may be brought against the suspects.
